Light Construction
GKN Wheels and Structures is a recognised leader in the design, manufacture and supply of 3 and 5 piece multi-piece wheels to the construction industry. They are suitable for a range of applications including backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, motor graders, wheeled excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks.
Over recent years, developments have encouraged a move from 5-piece to 3-piece wheels, offering fewer components, less material and reduced weight, as well as cost efficiencies and enhanced performance.
Standard fixed wheels have excellent strength properties giving impressive performance and fatigue resistance at high loads and speeds and under extreme site conditions.
The product range includes diameters from 24” to 35” and widths from 8.5” to 36”.
Construction wheels are manufactured in China, Denmark, Italy, the UK and the USA.
Over recent years, developments have encouraged a move from 5-piece to 3-piece wheels, offering fewer components, less material and reduced weight, as well as cost efficiencies and enhanced performance.
